CHICO, Calif. - Police located a stolen moving truck parked at an apartment complex in Chico Sunday, Chico Police Department said.

The vehicle was reported stolen on Saturday from the Best Western Heritage Inn when the victims were moving out of state and stopped at the hotel in Chico for the night.

The truck was located at about 10 a.m. Sunday parked at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of Ceres Ave.

When police responded to the apartment, dispatch received a report of people removing a lumber rack from a Chico Building Supply work truck and loading it into a utility trailer.

The work truck was determined to be stolen and witnesses and the owners of the vehicle attempted to stop the vehicle.

Police arrested 32-year-old Michael Hubburt as the suspect for possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
