ANDERSON, Calif. - The suspect of a stabbing incident was arrested Friday morning, according to the Anderson Police Department.
Police received information of where Demenn Spade was located around 5:45 a.m. Friday after a person contacted SHASCOM to report Spade.
Spade asked to use the caller’s phone near Barney Road in Anderson but the caller denied it.
The person recognized Spade from a press release and called SHASCOM.
When officers contacted Spade he said he wanted them to shoot him but officers took him into custody safely.
Spade was taken to the Shasta County Jail and is facing attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence charges.
