PARADISE, Calif. - Paradise Police arrested two men on drug charges during two separate calls on Dec. 5. One man was first reported to be nude, the other was on active probation.

Just after noon on Thursday, officials say they received a call saying a nude man was sitting in a car at the Fastrip gas station on Skyway and Clark Road.

When officers arrived, they found David Allan Cole in the car wearing only pants.

Because Cole was acting as if he was under the influence, officials say they conducted a field sobriety test that confirmed he was.

Earlier in the morning, around 8:30 a.m., officials also responded to a report of a suspicious man on the 7200 block of Skyway.

Officials say when they arrived, they found Jose Romero of Colusa County. From a records check, they learned Romero was on active probation and subject to search.

During a search, officials say they found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of suspected meth.

Cole and Romero were both taken to the Butte County Jail.
