RED BLUFF, Calif. - Two people were arrested on Dec. 6 after officers say they stole Christmas presents from a toy drive.

Just before 11 a.m. Children First FFA called police saying overnight someone had come in and stole the items.

When they arrived, officials say they saw many items were missing. Because of surveillance video, officials believed the suspects to be coming from the home next door.

Officers located and arrested both Joseph Betancourt and Marie Bennett in the home.

Both were booked into the Tehama County Jail.
