CHICO, Calif. - Chico police are searching for a suspect or suspects that may be involved in three armed robberies over the span of four days.

The most recent robbery occurred on Thursday night at the A&M Vapes on Mangrove Avenue. The owner of the store said that the robber came in around 7 p.m. and described him as a white male wearing black or dark clothing, with his face covered.

The other two robberies happened over the New Years holiday at East Avenue Liquor and All the Best Video.

Commander Mike Rodden of the Chico Police Department said that officers are working hard to try to find suspects.

"We're doing everything we can,"  he said. "There's stuff we obviously can't talk about but we're out there,we're looking and we're investigating every lead we have."

Business owners in the area told action news that they're nervous and they'll be on alert in case the man returns.

"I would say to business owners to stay safe number one," Rodden said. "There's no point in fighting with someone with a gun when it's just property they're taking. It's not worth someone's life."

Police are still working to confirm whether the three crimes are related.
