BUTTE AND SHASTA COUNTIES, Calif. - Redding police say a robbery at Rite Aid Pharmacy is connected to a Chico robbery from two weeks ago.

The suspects are still on the run Monday morning.

Police say two men entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Churn Creek Road in Redding Friday night. They jumped the pharmacy counter and forced employees to give them drugs and cash.

"Sometimes when robberies happen like these, people worry about whether there will be more of them," said Brian Torum of the Redding Police Department. "And at this point, it doesn't look like there's going to be any danger to the public or more threat that they're going to happen."

Police say they know the suspect's names but will not release them at this time.
