Placer County Sheriff's Office: Suspected drug dealer behind bars after chase, attempted assault

A suspected drug dealer is behind bars after authorities said he tried to hit a deputy with his car.

PLACER COUNTY, Calif. - A suspected drug dealer is behind bars after authorities said he tried to hit a deputy with his car.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office said Talon Findlay led deputies on a wild chase early Sunday morning after what investigators said was a drug sale in Loomis.

At one point, Findlay nearly hit a deputy with his car.

He is now behind bars for assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer.
