According to Anderson Police, officers were dispatched just after 5 a.m. Thursday about a burglary alarm sounding at Players Pizza in 2300 Balls Ferry Road.

When officers arrived at the scene they noticed an open door at the rear of the business, but no suspects were in the building at the time.

Anderson authorities later obtained video surveillance from inside the business, showing a man stealing an undisclosed amount of money and several food items.

Anyone with information is asked to call SHASCOM at (530) 245-6526.
