The Butte Humane Society hosted its annual “Pet Photos with Santa” on Saturday.

Cats and dogs were posed with Santa for some adorable holiday photos.

Some owners even took pictures with their pets.

Susan Anderson of Black Cat Photography donated her time to help out and photograph the event.

In the end, this was a great way to hit two birds with one stone and help out a great local society and get a cute holiday card.

Not only are you getting an amazing photo for your Christmas cards this year, but all the proceeds go towards Butte Humane Society and all the animals we care for,” said Honey Souza, volunteer and foster coordinator.

The photo shoot ended at 4 p.m. on Saturday, but don't worry.

If you couldn't make it on Saturday, another pet photoshoot will be on December 2

Cat photos are limited and require an appointment.

We have beautiful weather around northern California right now, but it will get a lot more unsettled this weekend as a storm moves overhead. We can expect gusty wind, a big cooldown, and areas of light to moderate rain.
