People who remain in Westwood, Pine Town should leave now

The Plumas County Search and Rescue is telling people to leave now as the Dixie Fire threatens more communities.

LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. - People who remained in Clear Creek, Westwood and Pine Town are being told to leave immediately, according to Plumas County Search and Rescue.

People should head east on Highway 36 in the direction of Susanville.

The Dixie Fire has burned over 517,000 acres and is 31% contained.
