TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. - Because of the rise of COVID-19 cases in Trinity County, Public Health issued an order that requires people to wear masks indoors despite their vaccination status.
Mel Beells of Hayfork tells Action News Now, he and his wife are fully vaccinated and feel protected against the virus.
“That gives us a little more confidence that we are not going to catch it nor are we going to spread it,” said Beells.
But Beells feels that wearing a mask should still be a choice.
“I think that it should be left up to the individuals,” said Beells. “I think each one ought to be able to make a choice, as to whether they wear masks or not.”
One man who did not want to be identified told Action News Now he is in favor of the public health order and has no issues wearing a mask indoors.
