Peace officers will be honored in Chico ceremony

Peace Officers who died in 2017 will be honored in Chico Monday evening at Bidwell Mansion.

Chico police will be honoring officers across the nation who lost their lives in the line of duty during 2017.

The ceremony will take place in front of the Bidwell Mansion at 6:30 Monday evening.

Chico Police say the ceremony will feature their honor guard and a reading of the names of the 122 officers, and 22 K-9 officers who died in the line of duty last year.
