PARADISE, Calif.- A Paradise Police Officer observed a suspicious vehicle at the entrance of a burned lot on the 6700 Block of Clark Rd., on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 11:27 a.m. The vehicle had two people in it.
The driver was identified as Douglas Brady, a Paradise transient.
The officer did a weapons search on Brady and found numerous hypodermic needles in Brady’s jacket.
He was placed under arrest for drug paraphernalia. The second person in the vehicle was released. The car ran out of fuel and that was why they were stuck at the location.
