WASHINGTON D.C. - The mayor of Paradise is traveling to Washington D.C. on Tuesday to advocate for Camp Fire relief.
Jody Jones told Action News Now she intends to advocate for fixing the water system, paying police officers and getting rid of dead and burned trees that need to be cut down.
"We need some things that are different than what the federal government normally does in a disaster," she said.
Jones said that a personal visit makes a difference in getting results.
