Paradise Police arrest woman accused of identity theft

Paradise woman arrested for identity theft of her neighbor.

PARADISE, Calif. - On Sunday, Paradise Police arrested Elaine Bader of Paradise for identity theft.

Paradise Police says officers responded to a reported disturbance in the parking lot of the Skyway Walgreens. There they found Bader blocked in by her apparent victim. 

The male victim is Bader's neighbor. She admitted to him, she had stolen his credit card, making purchases online and at local businesses. Officers say she had items in her possession that she had purchased with the stolen card. 

Paradise police says they book Bader into butte county jail without incident. She is also facing charges of forgery, and commercial burglary.
