BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Paradise Post Office will stop holding mail for evacuees of the Camp Fire on Feb. 9.
Paradise officials announced Thursday morning that government operations will be moving back to Paradise Town Hall.
Starting on Feb. 9, there will not be holding mail, it will only be delivered.
"We've been handing out mail over three months, and we've given that deadline because we figured people have enough time to figure out where they are," said Michael Johnson, postmaster for the Paradise Post Office.
The post office is offering a free P.O. box but will charge $6 per month if you want your own key.
