PARADISE, Calif. - Evacuation orders have been lifted in the town of Paradise, which has prompted the reopening of the post office.

The post office is currently organizing and trying to get a system back up and running.

Workers are also still trying to assess how they will deliver mail to boxes.

However, people from Paradise are excited to return and pick up their mail.

"I haven't had my mail in five and a half weeks so I'm anxious to get my mail," said Katherine Thompson, a resident in Paradise.

The post office located at 6469 Clark Rd, Paradise, will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
