Paradise pool reopens after Camp Fire

Sunday, the newly painted pool reopened in Paradise for the first time since the Camp Fire.

PARADISE, Calif. - A Summertime favorite is back in Paradise. Sunday was the big reopening of the Paradise Pool.

The Camp Fire burned so close to the pool that it had to be drained, power-washed and repainted.

This pool is an exciting addition for many people on the ridge who lost their own pools in the fire.

Air quality has worsened for most of northern California as a lot of smoke from our area fires as settled over the valleys and foothills. We can expect more hazy, smoky sunshine on Tuesday with light to moderate breezes as autumn begins.
