PARADISE, Calif - Paradise Police arrested a man on Nov. 8 after they say a stabbing victim identified the suspect.

Officials say they were notified of a 42-year-old stabbing victim being prepared for surgery at a local hospital.

With help from Chico Police, officials say they contacted the victim who then identified the suspect as Kevin Kruse.

Paradise Police contacted Kruse on Edgewood Lane where they say they found the knife used in the stabbing.

Officials say it was determined Kruse was the dominant aggressor in a physical altercation that led to the stabbing.

Kruse was booked into the Butte County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon with a bail of $30,000.
