PARADISE, Calif. - Paradise Police say they arrested five people on July 3, one on domestic battery charges.
The first arrest happened just after 2 p.m. in the area of Clark and Buschmann Roads. Police say Buck Sims was seen with an expired registration on his vehicle.
As officers investigated, they say they learned he also had an expired driver's license, as well as a warrant out for his arrest. Sims was ultimately arrested for the warrant and booked into the county jail.
A few hours later at about 8 p.m., officers were called to the area of Pentz Road and Kingdom Court to investigate a report of domestic violence.
Police say when they arrived, they found Amber Aldridge and her boyfriend. According to officers, Aldridge was first arguing with her boyfriend before it became physical.
Aldridge was arrested and booked into the Butte County Jail on domestic battery charges.
A little over a mile away an hour later, police say they found both Joseph Rowlands and Brian Hill at a home off of Billie Road. According to police, because both are on active parole, they are not allowed to be around each other.
Both Hill and Rowlands were arrested for violating the rule. Police say they also arrested Rowlands's girlfriend, Kaitlin McEachen because she had a felony warrant out for her arrest.
All three were booked into the Butte County Jail.
