PSPS canceled in western Glenn County

The Public Safety Power Shutoff in western Glenn County was canceled shortly before noon on Monday.

GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - The western Glenn County Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) has been canceled, according to Glenn County Office of Emergency Services.

At 9 a.m. the PSPS was delayed on the west side of Glenn County as there was a delay in the wind event and PG&E delayed its shut off.

Areas that were anticipated to be affected by the shutoff were the communities of Elk Creek, Grindstone, Fruto and Chrome.

376 customers were anticipating a possible shutoff in Glenn County.
