MAGALIA, Calif.- People on the ridge are still upset about the recent PG&E shutoffs. A group came together to protest outside of the Magalia Post Office on Skyway on Saturday morning.
Deb Tastet helped organize the protest, and says, "It's all about shutting the power off, leaving everyone stranded, there was no gas no food."
She says they are also upset about the PG&E Resource Center that was set up near local businesses, "This resource center had no regard for the small businesses that it effected, we lost money, paychecks and the community has lost food, , this was not a resource center."
PG&E told Action News Now more than 3300 customers used the centers on Thursday. Ultimately, more than 30 were opened during the shut offs.
They still have not addressed this specific protest.
