PALO CEDRO, Calif. - A crash knocked out power to over 700 customers in Palo Cedro on Sunday night, some of those customers are still waiting for power to be restored.
The CHP said the crash happened at 10 p.m. on Sunday on Deschutes Road, near Boyle Road. The driver crashed and broke a power pole, according to PG&E.
One-way traffic control was in place on Deschutes Road and surrounding areas.
Paul Moreno from PG&E said 714 customers lost power, within an hour 711 customers had power restored. The remaining three customers have to wait for the utility pole to be repaired.
Power is expected to be restored to the remaining three customers restored by 10:30 a.m., Moreno said.
