Oroville police capture murder suspect

Oroville Police Officers have just located and arrested Joshua Sealy. Sealy was taken into custody without incident and will be booked into the Butte County Jail.

Oroville Police Officers have located and arrested 30-year-old Joshua Sealy. Sealy was taken into custody without incident and will be booked into the Butte County Jail.

The Police Department thanked everyone who helped in locating him. The investigation is ongoing.

Sealy is accused of shooting Julius Ruff, 32, of Oroville last Thursday. Ruff was shot in a home near Burlington Avenue and Fort Wayne Street.

Sealy's girlfriend Cristy Seim, 27, is already behind bars for her involvement in Ruff's murder. Police say she was accidentally grazed by a bullet during the murder.

Oroville Police say Sealy was arrested in the parking lot located off Olive Highway within Butte County.
He remains in custody without bail.
