Oroville man charged with distribution of heroin

An Oroville man faces up to 40 years in prison after he was charged with two counts of distributing heroin.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A Oroville man was charged with two counts of distributing heroin, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert.

Aaron Rex, 57, faces a maximum of up to 20 years in prison for each distribution count and a $1 million fine.

Court documents said Rex distributed heroin on two occasions in 2020.
