OROVILLE, Calif. - The city of Oroville is holding their city council meetings virtually in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In order to follow CDC guidlines to practice social distancing at least 6 feet away, the chambers located on 1735 Montgomery Street are closed to the public.

The city will hold a live feed of the meeting, to watch it, CLICK HERE.

To voice your opinion for the meeting you can email before the meeting at 4 p.m., the email to send that to is publiccomment@cityoforoville.org

If there are people outside the building during the meeting there will be speakers for people to listen.

A microphone will also be placed outside the chambers during public comment sections to give people an oppurtunity to speak.

A closed session meeting will begin at 5 p.m. followed by an open session at 5:15 p.m.
