OROVILLE, Calif. - Agents from the California Alcoholic Beverage Control and Oroville Police arrested four suspects on Oct. 4. for buying minors alcohol.

These arrests were made by using the Decoy Shoulder Tap program, where agents place people under 21 years out outside of liquor stores and have them ask people walking into the stores if they can buy them alcohol.

The minors make it clear that that they are underage and cannot buy the drinks.

If a person agrees to buy the alcohol, then officers come and arrest the person.

That person is then fined $1000 and is sentenced to 24 hours of community service.

We've been warming today under a sunny sky, and the heat will only get more intense going forward. Today we warmed back to seasonal averages, and it will get much hotter through the weekend and beyond.
