Oroville Police Searching for Suspects in Shots fired at MLK Park, Home hit

Police say they are at the scene of a shooting at MLK Park.

Oroville, Calif. - Oroville Police say they are searching for any suspects in a case of shots fired at MLK park in Oroville. Police say a nearby home with three adults inside was hit by a bullet. No one was injured.

Police say they recieved several calls from neighbors saying they hearing gunfire at around 10:08 p.m. Thursday. They say the arrived at the scene only a minute later, to find multiple cars leaving at once. Police found five spent shell casings belonging to two different guns on the ground of the park. There was also a bullet hole in a nearby home. 

Police say they are now searching for eye witnesses to this shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Oroville Police at (530) 538-2448.
