ORLAND, Calif. - Looking for a way to beat the heat? The Orland City pool has reopened to the public.

The Orland Recreation Director tells Action News Now they have new rules set in place to protect people from COVID-19.

That includes frequent disinfecting of surfaces and asking everyone to be at least six feet apart from one another.

Everyone who enters the facility will get screened for coronavirus symptoms.

The pool now has the capacity to hold under 200 people, before the pandemic broke began it was 250.

The pool staff is not allowing anyone to reserve the pool for private parties or private swim lessons.
