CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police says one victim suffered a gunshot wound in a shooting Wednesday night.
The Department report says at 8:43 p.m., officers arrived at the parking lot of Liquor Bank on Main Street. The officers located the victim for transportation to the hospital for treatment. Medical staff says the victim is expected to survive.
Chico Police believes the shooting was an isolated incident.
Officer investigations conclude the incident may have begun in the area of W. 9th Street and Normal Avenue.
Chico Police are asking for any possible witnesses to call the station with more information.
