A shooting in broad daylight Thursday afternoon in Oroville.

Two people were shot, and one person is dead. The suspect is still being sought.

The shooting happened on Fort Wayne Street around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

Action News Now reporter Laura Eng has been following the story all afternoon.

Doctors here said a woman is still being treated, but they were unable to share her condition with me.

Oroville police are searching for Josh Sealy. He has long brown hair and brown eyes. He is a person of interest and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Laura spoke with a doctor who shared with her what he could, but confirmed one person was killed.

She also spoke with a neighbor of the man and woman who witnessed the suspect running away into an SUV.

Laura reached out to Oroville police for more details on how and why this happened. They told her investigators are still looking for the suspect and won't have any more details until later this evening.

If you do see the suspect, Josh Seeley, you are asked to contact Oroville police right away.
