PALO CEDRO, Calif. - One person tested positive at Palo Cedro's Foothill High School on Sept. 22, Shasta Union High School District Superintendent Jim Cloney said.
Cloney said contact tracing has been done and they have found less than five people who had been deemed close contacts. Those few people have been advised to stay home for two weeks from the last day of exposure on Thursday, Sept. 17, according to Cloney.
The school's current schedule is distance learning with a return to face-to-face instruction for only some students on Sept. 24.
Action News Now asked if the positive case was a student or staff member. Cloney said they would not be providing any identifying information.
