OLD SHASTA, Calif. - Park rangers from the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area partnered with the Shasta State Historic Park Saturday for the annual Old Time Holiday celebration.

The event follows the footsteps of the gold miners, who in 1849 traveled to Whiskeytown to share their food after preparing a meal in Old Shasta.

The event was held at the Shasta State Historic Park this year since much of the Whiskeytown Recreation Area was destroyed by the Carr Fire.

It was festive and full of family activities and fun. Watch the video to see more!
