CHICO, Calif. - The owners of downtown Chico's Old Barn Kitchen announced that they are permanently closing their doors next Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3:00 p.m.
The restaurant, featuring Icelandic special dishes, moved to Chico in 2018 after their Paradise business was destroyed during the Camp Fire.
The owners said on Saturday via Facebook that they have fought and sacrificed in order to stay open, but have not been able to keep their business solvent during these difficult times.
They did not cite Covid-19 restrictions as the cause of their closure.
The owners said they want to thank all their customers in Paradise and in Chico for their support.
