CHICO, Calif.- Sierra Nevada's Oktoberfest celebration kicked off this weekend in Chico.

The event featured food, live entertainment, costumes and of course... lots of beer.

For the first time ever, Sierra Nevada gave away a free royal Oktoberfest wedding to one lucky couple.

The wedding took place during the opening night on Friday, with a special guest...Sierra Nevada founder, Ken Grossman.

Ken Grossman said, This is our tenth annual oktoberfest and we're looking forward to having a great party and we're doing a wedding   tonight as well, we've got four nights that are sold out, nearly 14,000 people and it should be a fun party for all.

The winners of the Oktoberfest Royal Wedding Contest were Andrew Naslund and Catherine Wilder, from San Francisco.
