North state honors fallen CHP officer

The public and uniformed officers honored fallen CHP officer in Redding.

The community gathered to honor the fallen California Highway Patrol officer killed in the line of duty on Christmas Eve.

Officer Andrew Camilleri was hit by a suspected drunk driver while on patrol in Hayward over the holiday.

Thursday morning, the CHP Northern California Division honored Camilleri at the Bechelli Lane flag pole in Redding.

All of the names of fallen officers this year were read aloud and flag was lowered to half-staff.
