North State families create tie-dye wearable art during pandemic

Tie-dye is being called a trend during this pandemic. Families in the North State have been working together to create their own masterpieces.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - You just need some clothing, or sheets, or even plain cloth face masks. Add some color fabric dye and get a pile of rubber bands. Voila! You have a family art project in the making, that has been super popular across the United States during this pandemic.

Items tie-dyed included a pair of long underwear, a duvet, some sheets, and even clothing for family pets and teddy bears.

One viewer even made a tie-dye cake for her son's 12th birthday.
