No Decision Made on Chico Emergency Winter Shelters

The Chico City Council has not yet made a decision on whether to open emergency shelters for the winter.

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico City Council has not yet made a decision on whether to open emergency shelters for the winter.

The topic was on the agenda for Tuesday night's meeting to discuss how the weather could affect the homeless in the area. 

At the meeting, the council directed City Manager Mark Orme to further work out the details of the project for review on a future date.
