As we head into the second half of September temperatures will start off the week in the low 80's and head toward 90 degrees for most valley locations by mid week, which is fairly close to normal for this time of year. But one way it is feeling more and more like Fall are the morning lows, down to the 30's in most mountain locations and 40's and lower 50's in the valley.
The second half of the week will be warm with 80's for the valley and 70's in the mountains after your chilly morning lows.
But by next wekeend a dip in the jet stream will bring cooler weather with breezy conditions into northern California and temperatures will drop back into the 70's in the valley and 60's for the mountains. All this means as the calendar turns toward Fall, Fall-like weather is on its way. However, there is no rain in the forecast.
