Nation's Finest hosting virtual meetings to help Trinity County fire survivors

Trinity County fire survivors have an opportunity to receive help through the Wildfire Assistance Crisis Counselors.

TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. - There are virtual meetings to help support fire survivors, according to Nation's Finest Wildfire Assistance Crisis Counselors.

There is a fire preparedness meeting at 9:30 a.m., then at 11 a.m. there is a self-help and coping meeting and at 2:15 p.m. there is navigating life after a wildfire meeting.

All of the meetings are Monday through Friday except for holidays. The last of the meetings are on Friday, Dec. 3.

The Wildfire Crisis Counselors provide survivors living in rural areas that have limited local resources and are difficult to serve.

It provides resources to people who live or temporarily reside in Shasta, Siskiyou and Trinity counties.

Survivors have been impacted by a wildfire within the last three years.
