Skyway Spot Fires, Burning Suspended for 2 Days

Butte County Cal Fire is responding to multiple spot fires along the Skyway between Chico and Paradise near the Tuscan Ridge Golf Club.

UPDATE 7:52 PM
Due to high winds, Cal Fire has suspended burning for both Friday and Saturday in Butte County.

UPDATE 5:50 P.M.--
The fire was a total of 10 acres and the cause remains under investigation.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M.--
Butte County Cal Fire Public Information Office Rick Carhart tells Action News Now that there were about seven or eight different spot fires, but they have been able to stop its spread.
