CHICO, Calif.- A business owner in Chico says he's fed up after his shop has been vandalized twice in one week.

Dave Williams, owner of "Dave's Chico Muffler Services", on Broadway Street, says the latest break-in at his shop took place two days ago, and the one before that took place exactly a week before.

Williams says he's facing at least $5,000 dollars worth of damage and stolen property.

He says, "I've lived here my whole life and I've been on this corner for more than 30 years and every year it gets worse. I'm very fed up."

The Chico Police Department says they are aware of both incidents and there is currently an active investigation taking place.

Officials are still working to obtain surveillance footage from surrounding businesses to help them find whoever is responsible.

Williams says he's in the process of installing security cameras himself.

According to The Chico Police Online Crime Map, there have been 32 reports of vandalism in the last 30 days in Chico.

A dry and warmer than average Presidents' Day and work week is expected as high pressure dominates our weather. High temperatures will make the mid to upper 60s and the next chance for rain isn't until next Sunday.
