Mount Shasta Police Department brings back 24-hour dispatch center

The Mount Shasta Police Department has brought back its 24-hour dispatch center after 10 years.

MOUNT SHASTA, Calif. - The Mount Shasta Police Department has brought back its 24-hour dispatch center after 10 years.

The City Council voted in favor of bringing back the graveyard shift Monday night. 

The 24-hour dispatch center will return on July 1.

It took a few hours, but the sun broke through the clouds over most of northern California Tuesday afternoon. The low clouds, fog and light rain showers return to the valley Wednesday, with snowy weather in the mountains.
