SUTTER COUNTY, Calif. - The Sutter County Sheriff's Office arrested a mother for child endangerment after they say she crashed her car and stole another.
The Sheriff's Office received a call just before 9 a.m. on Oct. 1 about a crash on Lincoln Road and South Walton in Yuba City.
Before Deputies arrived, witnesses called again to say the driver, later identified as Bianca Elizabeth Dumbazu, had gotten herself and a toddler out of her vehicle and then stole another before driving away.
Officials say witnesses followed Dumbazu and continued to tell officials she was driving recklessly on Township Road.
When Deputies arrived, they located the stolen vehicle and watched it lose control and crash in the area of Township and O'Banion Roads.
Dumbazu was taken into custody and the toddler was turned over to Child Protective Services.
Dumbazu was booked at the Sutter County Jail for child endangerment, possession of a stolen vehicle, driving while under the influence, and felony hit and run.
