Here comes the sun! Skies have mostly cleared out overnight in the valley, but clouds are lingering in the mountains this morning. We still have a chance for some scattered mountain showers today, but we'll be staying dry in the valley. Mountain showers will be very light and scattered. Temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's in the valley overnight, and mountain areas are starting out in the 30's to 40's this morning. Winds will be picking up out of the North today and could peak at around 25mph. High temperatures will climb into the mid 60's to low 70's in the valley this afternoon, and into the 40's to 50's in the mountains. Overall, it looks like a nice but breezy Tuesday.

Dry and even warmer weather will be ahead for your Wednesday. We'll more than likely start out cooler in most areas, so a jacket won't be a bad idea for your way out the door in the morning. Temperatures will then climb into the low 70's in the valley and into the 50's to 60's in the mountains. Another wet system is expected to bring showers to our area on Thursday, but they'll mostly be limited to mountain areas. Temperatures will dip back into the mid to high 60's in the valley on Thursday. Some mountain showers could linger into your Friday forecast but we'll be drying out again for your weekend. Temperatures will end up in the low 70's in the valley on Friday and will then climb into the mid 70's in the valley on Saturday. Models are hinting at another wet system heading towards our region for the start of next week. We'll start to see a dip in temperatures on Sunday, with valley areas topping out in the mid to high 60's. The chance for widespread showers will return for your Monday forecast next week.
