More than 13,000 REU customers without power

There are roughly 13,030 customers without power in Redding due to winter weather conditions, according to Redding Electric Utility.

REDDING, Calif. - There are roughly 13,030 customers without power in Redding due to winter weather conditions, according to Redding Electric Utility.

Wednesday morning, more than 30,000 were without power and crews have made progress since then to restore power to multiple areas. 

Crews from REU and six other mutual-aid agencies will continue to work over the next four to five days to repair damage and restore power. 

The following locations are areas that do not have power: 

AREA DESCRIPTION – NORTH BOUNDARY IS ARIZONA ST INCLUDING A PORTION OF CYNTHIA WY, WEST BOUNDARY IS CHURN CREEK MOBILE PARK INCLUDING EAST OAKS ESTATES, EAST BOUNDARY IS AIRPORT RD, SOUTH BOUNDARY IS FROZEN GOURMET AT AIRPORT RD INCLUDING SHASTINA RANCH SUBDIVISION;
