CHICO, Calif. - Kids impacted by the Camp and Carr Fires have some big help coming their way, thanks to a community of  "mini-enthusiasts."

Action News Now reporter Luna Nas visited those enthusiasts and local kids on Sunday at the Butte Creek Country Club where the "mini" family came together for the big cause.

They had a car show fundraiser for the youth for the Camp and Carr Fires, with all the revenue geared to go to support the needs.

"Mini" communities from Chico, Shasta and Sacramento produced the car show. They also added in a silent auction and raffle to raise even more money for the Camp and Sarr Fire kids.

More than 60 minis and their owners were part of the car show, and some participants came from as far away as San Diego.

Norm Nelson  lost two minis in the Carr Fire. He said the fundraiser speaks volumes about the mini-Cooper family.

The mini clubs hoped to raise more than $15,000. The money goes to the Golden Valley bank Community Foundation, who will make sure the funds will go directly to Camp and Darr Fire kids.
