Mindbox Studios wins 2018 outstanding downtown business in Redding

A look inside Mindbox Studios the winner this year's downtown business of the year award.

Tuesday night’s State of Downtown event in Redding highlighted some amazing work being done in the city. Above all of the others, one business, in particular, was highlighted because of the amazing work they do to help start and grow businesses in the community.

It is called Mindbox Studios and their office is located right in the heart of downtown Redding.

Last night they were awarded the 2018 outstanding downtown business award after only a year with their office in the heart of the city.

After spending just an hour with the team at Mindbox studios and right away you can tell they are very deserving of this award because of how much they care for the downtown area.

Their business works with startups and entrepreneurs to develop software for any of their needs. Josh Miller the CEO of mind box said to action news in short “we build cool software for cool people.”

Their office is an open space for creativity and activity as most of their team works remotely.

Over the years they say in total they have worked with thousands of local and far-reaching business all over the country.

While their primary office is here in Redding Mindbox also has a team in Eugene Oregon and others throughout the country to increase their reach.

The company was founded in Cleveland Ohio in 2007 and is now headquartered in downtown Redding.

Besides from working on clients, Mindbox also puts on events such as this one in the community.
