MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. - Mendocino County Health Officials have confirmed their 14th case of the coronavirus and said the source of infection was a Mother's Day live-streamed church service where he had contact with two other people.
All three were at the church on May 10 where they sang during a live-streamed Mother's Day service. Two of the three people were from neighboring Lake County.
Now, all three have tested positive for coronavirus.
One of the Lake County residents has been hospitalized, according to health officials. The other two are in stable condition and are at home in isolation.
To protect the privacy of the church, Mendocino County is not releasing the name but said it is urging church leaders to do so themselves in order to encourage members to seek testing if needed.
Health officials are working together to do contact tracing.
