MARYSVILLE, Calif. – 28-year-old Jedidiah Jack Buttelo of Marysville was arrested by police early Friday morning for suspected involvement in a string of burglaries.
According to the Marysville Police Department, the string of burglaries had been reported in the 2200 and 2400 blocks of Buchanan St. in Marysville.
Police said during their investigation they created a list of several items that had been stolen from different homes. They said when they continued to investigate the area of the burglaries, they discovered a backpack which led them to the identification of the suspect, Jedidiah Jack Buttelo.
On Friday night at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers arrested Buttelo at 3rd and E St. A search of Buttelo’s home on the 300 block of E. 17th St. in Marysville revealed, according to police, several stolen items connected to the Buchanan St. burglaries.
Sunday morning officials at the Yuba County Jail said the charges Buttelo faces include burglary, grand theft with a firearm and receiving stolen property.
Buttelo remains in the Yuba County jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
